Where does this figure come from? Seeing the source of every number on the board

Which query, which Logo tables, which period and filters did a card's figure come from? The "Bu sayı nereden?" panel shows it, and "Yenile" redraws the card with current data.

When a figure is questioned in a management meeting, the most common question is: where did this number come from? In an Excel file the answer is inside a formula; in a report it sits with the person who prepared it. In iyibir Mind the answer is on the card. The source of every card's figure is written in a panel that opens with one click.

Opening the panel

You click the card's source line (it has a small i icon next to it) or the "Nereden?" (Where from?) button on inner cards. Opening the panel does not call the model and does not run a new query; it only shows the record of the query the card was already drawn from.

What the panel shows

  • Query: which query the card came from and a short description.
  • Logo tables: the tables the query reads.
  • Period and filters: the period the query is bound to and the filters applied (customer or supplier, product, warehouse).
  • Data date: the date the figures are as of.
  • Query line: "Mind sorgu kataloğu" (Mind query catalogue), "Komutun sabit sorgusu" (the command's fixed query) or "Model yazdı" (the model wrote it).
  • Verification status: "Doğrulanmış sorgu" (verified query), "Kısmen doğrulanmış" (partly verified) or "Model yazdı, doğrulanmamış" (written by the model, not verified); the month it was measured is also shown, for example "Ekim 2026'da ölçüldü" (measured in October 2026).

So before taking a card to a meeting you can see which tables were read, which period it looked at, and whether the query was measured. Mind shows this to say how solid a card is; it doesn't present every card with the same confidence.

The model doesn't produce the number

In ready-made analyses and report commands, the figures on the cards are the result of a fixed query. The model that writes the answer in the chat doesn't produce numbers and doesn't draw the chart or the cards either; it only explains the result. Even the "Öne çıkan" (Highlight) note on a card is not written by the model; it is a single sentence derived from the figures by fixed rules. This split lets you answer "did the AI make a number up?" on the card itself: look at the query line.

Some cards left over from older conversations don't have this panel; the source label stays as plain text.

Yenile: same query, current data

On cards drawn from a fixed query (report commands and ready-made analyses), the card's ⋯ menu has "Yenile" (Refresh). Refresh re-runs the card's own query on the server and replaces the card in place. The model isn't called and no question from your quota is used. The card shows "Son yenilenme: time" (Last refreshed); cards that can't be refreshed show "Çizildi: time" (Drawn).

  • After a card is refreshed it can't be refreshed again for 30 seconds. If it is already refreshing, Mind says so.
  • If a refresh fails (the ERP connection, no records returned), the card stays as it was, the notification says why, and it says "Kart önceki verisiyle duruyor." (The card keeps its previous data.)
  • A payroll card isn't refreshed if the payroll institution it was drawn for isn't selected; you select that institution in the working scope.

The board you drew on Friday for the Monday meeting can be brought up to date on the morning of the meeting by refreshing it card by card.

Asking from a card

The "Sor" (Ask) icon in the corner of a key figure or at the right of a table row writes a starter such as "card name · row name" into the question box; you write the rest and send it. Mind finds the row itself from your saved board, using the names you wrote. In later questions you can also refer to values on the board, such as a customer, product, month or amount: "Panodaki ilk müşteriye kaç fatura kesmişiz?" (How many invoices have we issued to the first customer on the board?). Shared, read-only boards don't have the "Sor" icon.

Can Mind give a wrong answer

The parts of a card

  • Title and source: what the card shows, where the figures come from ("ERP verisi" for your company's Logo data) and the date they are as of.
  • Öne çıkan (Highlight): a one-sentence note drawn from the result, for example the position against target.
  • Key figure cards: the highlighted numbers, with the change from the previous period where there is one.
  • Chart: the drawing that fits the data; if the data doesn't fit a chart, none is drawn and the table remains.
  • Table: the rows of the result.

When you ask the same question again, the card is redrawn and the figures are the result at that moment. A chart's own numbers also sit as a table; you copy the table or download it as CSV.

Card actions

  • Yenile (Refresh): re-runs the card's query (on cards that can be refreshed).
  • Üste sabitle (Pin to top): keeps the card at the top of the board.
  • Tam ekran (Full screen): opens the card on its own; Esc closes it.
  • CSV indir and Tabloyu kopyala (Download CSV and Copy table): move the table to Excel or another spreadsheet.
  • Panodan kaldır (Remove from board): removes the card from this conversation's board.

Pins and removals are saved with the board; when you reopen the conversation, the board comes back.

Four checks before the meeting

  • Read the period and data date on the source line: which range and which date does the card show?
  • Look at the Logo tables read and the filters applied (customer or supplier, product, warehouse) in the "Nereden?" panel.
  • Look at the query line and the verification status: is it a catalogue query or the command's fixed query?
  • If the data is old, redraw the card with "Yenile"; update a card that can't be refreshed by asking the question again.

The board shows the data of the company and period in your scope; you can confirm the scope from the button in the top bar. If you want to clear the board for another purpose, "Panoyu temizle" (Clear the board) asks first; the cards are removed permanently, the conversation stays, and you can redraw the cards by asking the questions again.

The guide's answer is plain: the figures on the board are the query result, but checking which analysis and which period answered your question is your part. The card's title and source line tell you; the "Nereden?" panel gives the detail. Looking at these two places before taking a figure to a meeting is enough.
