Mind for the sales manager: target, funnel, and best-sellers

A sales manager's target, funnel, and best-selling-product questions are asked one by one in Turkish in Mind, and each maps to a ready-made analysis; the result is briefly explained in the chat and drawn onto the board.

The three questions a sales manager asks over and over during the day are usually the same: where do we stand against target, where is the funnel getting stuck, which product is standing out. These questions sit scattered across separate reports. In iyibir Mind, each is asked in Turkish, matches a ready-made analysis, and the answer is drawn onto the board as a card.

The overall picture

Starting the day with "Show this month's sales summary," the sales summary analysis gives net sales, invoice count, average invoice amount, and gross margin; it also adds the change against the previous matching period and monthly sales for the last 12 months. This is the way to see the overall picture before moving to target and funnel.

Target

The question "Where are we against this month's sales target?" runs the sales target and achievement analysis: it gives the net sales target, the actual, the achievement rate, and the amount expected to date; asked for a month or quarter, it also adds the year's target. The result is drawn onto the board as a metric card, and the card stays on the board for the next question.

Funnel

The sales funnel analysis, matched by "Show this month's sales funnel," gives the quotation, order, dispatch, invoice, and collection stages with counts, amounts, and conversion rates. Where the funnel narrows is visible in a single card where these stages sit side by side — there's no need to manually combine stages queried separately.

Best-sellers

Asking "Which products sold most this month?" runs the top-selling products analysis, which ranks products by net sales amount and gives quantity, amount, and share of the total. How many products you want to see can also be stated in the question.

Open orders

To look more closely at the dispatch stage of the funnel, you ask "What are the open sales orders?" The open sales orders analysis lists orders not yet dispatched or partly dispatched, with customer, date, delivery date, amount, and status.

Where the numbers come from

Every number on a card is the result of the analysis; the model writing the answer does not produce numbers. Mind's job is to understand the question, pick the right ready-made analysis, and briefly explain the result. If your question doesn't match any of these analyses, Mind says so instead of pretending one exists. For analyses that take a period, you state this month, last month, this quarter, this year, or the last 12 months in the question; if you don't, the analysis's default period is used, calculated in Turkey time.

A sales board

When the five questions above are asked one by one, their answers accumulate on the same conversation's board; before a weekly sales meeting, all that's needed is opening that board. When you name a board and share it, the relevant people on the sales team see it read-only; they use "Start from this board" to open their own copy and continue with their own questions — when you ask a new question yourself, it doesn't reflect on their board until you choose "Update."

Today, Mind works with sample data from a fictional industrial spare-parts distributor. The questions above are asked with this sample data during a trial; every card carries a "Sample ERP data" note.
