10 questions for the weekly management meeting

Which of Mind's 15 ready-made analyses answers the questions a general manager, finance manager, and sales manager ask before the weekly meeting? A list covering sales, collections, and stock.

A general manager, finance manager, and sales manager walking into the weekly meeting usually carry the same questions: where do we stand against target, how are collections going, is anything stuck in stock. In iyibir Mind these questions are asked one by one in Turkish, and each maps to a ready-made analysis. The list below shows 10 questions you might ask before a meeting and which analysis in Mind answers each one.

Sales

  • "Where do we stand against this month's sales target?" — the sales target and achievement analysis gives the target, the actual, and the achievement rate for this month.
  • "Show this month's sales funnel." — the sales funnel analysis gives the quote, order, shipment, invoice, and collection stages with quantity, amount, and conversion rates.
  • "Which products sold the most this month?" — the best-selling products analysis ranks products by net sales amount.
  • "What are the pending sales orders?" — the pending sales orders analysis lists orders that haven't been shipped or only partially shipped, with customer, date, and status.

Finance and collections

  • "Show overdue receivables by delay bracket." — the overdue receivables analysis breaks down overdue documents into delay brackets.
  • "Show the distribution of overdue receivables by customer." — the overdue receivables by customer analysis gives each customer's overdue balance and share.
  • "How is customers' credit limit usage?" — the credit limit usage analysis shows today's limit, balance, and usage rate, and flags customers over their limit.
  • "Show this month's collections by week." — the collections analysis gives this month's collections with a weekly trend.
  • "What's the state of our cash and bank balances?" — the cash and bank balances analysis shows today's balances, broken out by currency.

Stock

  • "Which products have stock below the critical level?" — the critical stock analysis gives warehouse, on-hand quantity, critical level, and incoming purchases together.

Building a board

When these 10 questions are asked one by one, their answers accumulate on the same conversation's board. Before a meeting, all that's needed is opening that board — the questions don't need to be re-asked; the cards are saved together with the conversation.

Sharing the board

When you name a board and share it, it's added to the shared boards list for everyone at your company. A shared board is read-only: a teammate uses "Start from this board" to open their own copy and continues from there with their own questions — your board doesn't change. When you ask a new question yourself, it doesn't reflect on the shared board until you choose "Update."

Who sees what

  • Conversations are personal; only you see them.
  • Boards you share appear company-wide, read-only.
  • Companies are isolated from each other; another company can't reach your records.

Today, Mind works with sample data from a fictional industrial spare-parts distributor. The questions above are asked with this sample data during a trial; every card carries a "Sample ERP data" note.
